Beach House

I recently watched HBO's "Grey Gardens" and although I would not let my house fall in to such disrepair, I could entertain the idea of never leaving my beach house. Imagine waking every morning to the sound of the surf coming through a large picture window. I would wear hot pants and a t-shirt every day and take outdoor showers.

Comme Ci Comme Ca

This is a sexy couch. Something you will see in my living room. If I ever invite you over.

End of An Era

This famous mural faces conversion to accommodate another clothing label that purchased the building. At first I felt a ping of "Oh no" and then I realized I had just felt sad for an ad. Although it is a New York landmark it is still an advertisement. I say paint over it and do a beach scene.

Beach House

This rope print carpet is fantastic. Nautical themes make my heart sing. I will never grow tired of the navy blue and white combination, NEVER. Maybe I was a sailor or french in a past life.

Home

This is the Salt Box. Popular in New England and I am going to have one. There is a definite difference between the craftsmanship of yore and the plastic McMansion of today. No matter how much is paid, the results always tend to look cheap. For those who do not care, may they be happy surrounded by vinyl siding.

Isn't this great...

Being poor does not mean you have to sacrifice on STYLE. Go to the thrift store and get yourself a bag of treasure for less than a sawbuck(ten dollars.)
P.S. - Does not the man in the red and white look like Nate from Gossip Girl?
